Dawn Stilwell - LPC Intern
Dawn Stilwell is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and also an Elementary Teaching Certificate. After teaching first grade for six years, Dawn became a Behavior Specialist for children in Pre-K to 3rd grade. While working with these precious children, Dawn decided to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a therapist. She now holds a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University and is licensed as a Professional Counselor Intern.
Dawn's passion is working with children and adolescents and their families. It is her goal to help others celebrate their unique qualities and find strength and happiness within themselves. After a brief stint in Ohio, Dawn moved to Texas with her very "unconventional" family at age 14. Two years later, she met her best friend and her future husband. Dawn and her husband live in Benbrook and have one beautiful, extremely talented 18-year-old daughter who is the love of their lives. Dawn charges $85 for a 50 minute session and offers a sliding scale. |
