Brittne Zemanek
Student Intern
A graduate of Texas Christian University, Brittne Zemanek earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology with a minor in social work. She is currently attending Texas Wesleyan University where she will receive her Masters in Professional Counseling.
While at TCU, Brittne worked directly with special-needs adopted children who experienced neglect from orphanage care. She was involved in a research-based therapeutic camp where she saw first hand the positive effects of therapy on children and their parents. This experience not only opened the door to behavioral principles but taught her to appreciate the simple things in life that most of us take for granted.
Brittne grew up in Conroe, Texas where she started dancing at the age of three. Creative outlets are an important aspect in her life, and she thinks that any type of art can be therapeutic for the soul. She currently resides in Coppell with her dog and two cats. She is an avid animal lover and is always on the look-out for an animal in need.
Brittne believes that everyone can benefit from therapy no matter how big or small the problem is. She feels that life can be difficult but rewarding at the same time, and she wants to help others cope with the challenges life throws at them.
