Brittne “Z-Mack” Zemanek, MA, LPC Intern
Never underestimate that little school in eastern Ft. Worth. Texas Wesleyan University is producing some outstanding therapists. One of its recent offspring is Brittne Zemanek. Armed with a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling, she a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern.
Before being relabeled “Z-Mack” by The LifeWorks Group and before receiving her MA degree from TWU, Brittne attended TCU and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. During her tenure at Texas Christian University, Brittne dove headfirst into the helping profession. She assisted not only adopted children but those who were neglected in orphanages and in need of special care. This all translates into Brittne having the emotional fortitude to manage just about anything you can throw her way. She has grit, thus the title Z-Mack.
The LifeWorks Group supports Brittne’s eclectic counseling interests. She works with a variety of issues and populations including depression, anger management, anxiety, trauma, lost identity, body image, marriage, teenage angst, same-sex couples, young adults and adopted children.
A snippet of Z-Mack’s personal life is that she’s not too far from her hometown of Conroe, Texas. There she is better known for her other passion, dancing, which she has been doing since age 3. If she’s not dancing, Brittne is enjoying time with her dog and two cats. She loves animals and is always on the look-out for an animal to rescue. Rumor is that she once tried to reign in a dingo.
