Beth Lewis, MA, LPC Intern
Beth Lewis spent many years as a professional musician, writing, recording and touring (she's a vocalist/lyricist/bass player) with Pinkston and rubberbullet. She eventually decided to get herself a job that did not require laundering the smoke out of her clothing nightly and went back to school to study psychology. As a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas and Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, she started with LifeWorks as a student intern in the summer of 2007.
After three semesters and many hours beyond student requirements (only 2 semesters are required), Beth joined the LifeWorks team as a LPC Intern specializing in work with couples, families, and teens, as well as artists, dancers, musicians, rock bands (she may even have more tattoos than you). It is her creativity and her musical experience that gives her that LifeWorks Group edge - Beth has never lived inside the box. In fact, we're not even sure she's ever even visited the box.
Beth believes in family whether traditional or unconventional. She and her talented musician squeeze of 13 years adore their 6 (and a half!)-year old daughter who is active in ballet, theatre, piano and Montessori 1st grade. You may also get the opportunity to meet their delightful old Basset Hound named Raimi (yes, after Sam Raimi) as he accompanies Beth to the FW offices.
Beth’s home base is The LifeWorks Group’s Ft. Worth office.
Beth charges $85 for a 50 minute session and offers a sliding scale. |
